The Vineland-II 用於在自然情況下,杰森發展調整自己的功
能的有關資訊。調適行為的定義,是使自己為了能照顧自己,
可以與其他人相處一天活動的能力。調適行為代表的是典型的
表現能力,而不是一個孩子做了什麼是超出了他的能力所能做
的事情的。The Vineland-II 提供的資訊是源於主要照顧者的
報告,關於一個孩子以下幾個方面的運作:
communication (receptive: understanding non-literal language and
following multiple-step directions。expressive/using gestures; ages,
name, birthday, phone, address, stays on topic in conversation, speech
skills such as prepositions, conjunctions, tense usage, possessives,
pronouns, pronunciation, voice modulation, and expressing complex ideas
like telling a story, telling about experience in detail。written
communication: reading and understanding; printing words or phrases。
daily living ( personal: feeding self without spilling, toiling dressing,
bathing, grooming, brushing teeth, washing hair, covering mouth when
coughing or sneezing, using a tissue to wipe or blow nose。
domestic:care around hot or sharp objects, kitchen chores like helping
clear the table, helping prepare food requiring mixing and cleaning;
cleaning own play or work area, putting away personal possessions,
putting away clean cloths。
